PSA - You know how on some URL's that get posted here and everywhere on the internet there's (for example) ?utm=blahblah or other shit hanging off the end of the link?
Well those are tracking parameters, often times allowing other site owners to track who's reading their content.
Well, I'm currently working on a way for COSO to automagically strip tracking parameters from all URL's posted on COSO.
So when you click a link here, you know it's been sanitized.

@th3j35t3r In addition to stripping that stuff, I always open in a different browser than I found it in.
@th3j35t3r Just So, yes. Rountine includes clearing cache and cookies, too.
I do something similar, although I just eyeball most of the links I'm investigating. I save the "disconnected" browser for sketchier stuff.
Depending on what I'm doing I might run a spare browser in a virtual machine. Or on a burner box that I'm willing to reinstall a new operating system on at any time.
@mcfate @th3j35t3r Admittedly I'm not looking at anything super sketch. I just run 4 browsers all with different stuff in, and a fifth is available for anything I don't want in those. With my spouse working a federal job, there are some things we just don't even consider opening.
