@trendwithin They assign you a bunch of "interests" and use those to determine what, aside from your follows, appears in your feed. I go in periodically and clear it all out.
@trendwithin they're allocating your "intrests" so they can bundle them up and sell ads. I am using a coop blocklist for a lot of the advertisers, based on their support of various social positions so I don't see a whole lot of ads. But twitter will use your account that way whether you log in or not. Of course it's Schedule 1 BS.
@chakaal It's gobbledygook. What exactly is Twitter's solution? They refuse to resolve violations to their on TOS. What products do they have when I am the product?
I haven't logged in in nearly 4 years. This email just expresses to me they are so passive in tone as a company they couldn't even invest in a couple of devs to bin me in the has been category without worrying I wouldn't come back.
