Has anyone here tried the ketogenic diet? If so, what did you think? Did it work?

@Keep_Real Yes, it works. You might not enjoy your metabolism adjusting to it, possibly taking it in stages would help. There are things you can do to mitigate that, but it still takes time.

@Keep_Real You could feel kind of like you have the flu, lethargic or headachy (I didn't). They call it the keto-flu. You might find your bowels are more active, which is related to your current "normal" insulin levels - insulin suppresses bowel motility so when you remove the need for it (by dropping your blood sugar) your gut is more active until it adjusts. Look up Jimmy Moore keto, lots of information, resources, podcasts. Much depends on your current metabolic state.
