A massive increase in public investment in non-market housing in BC is both achievable and affordable through a model proposed by CCPA–BC senior economist Alex Hemingway aimed at middle income earners.

The model is self financing and therefore won't compete with other priorities for tax dollars—and it could make a serious dent in the province's housing crisis.
