Lots of greats from Puerto Rico. Take for example, the late, great Roberto Clemente (1934-1972), a Puerto Rican, American and Pennsylvanian. He played 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, mostly as a right fielder.
Yes. He was a great baseball player for the Pirates and was the first Latino player to enter the baseball hall of fame. He won a World Series Championship as well.
He was a greater man who exhibited his care for the less fortunate through his humanitarian efforts. A friend to many!🙏🏼😔
