Mexican restaurants account for 17% of all restaurants in California, and 22% of all Mexican restaurants in the country are in California.
Bet Colorado is high on the list. There were great MX restaurants on every street when I lived there. Including the grandmas who sold tamales out of the trunk of their cars at Christmas.
Have lived in the south for 12+ years. Not one good Mexican restaurant to be found.
