I’ve been in a reflective mood for quite sometime. Perhaps it’s a form of nesting as I age.

My roots are very important to me. The struggles and the fortitude to get through them for a better life are absolutely the strengths I’ve carried with me.

So, I’ve surrounded myself with some family treasures. Shown are my paternal grandmother’s baby carriage, high chair made by her father, apron & bonnets, laundry basket and quilt. She was born in 1901.

@CherNohio They are so beautiful. That baby buggy is amazing. Something I’ve been working on is the a list for the family for when I’m gone.(now that somehow I am the elder woman) I try to tell the stories but am afraid they may forget. So I have a list with the person who should inherit each and the story.
