I hope to you - gman - that people wake up and realize what's being done to them. I wish for all I'm worth that it happens, but I have little hope. Within a few generations, we'll be living in an Idiocracy for Real. My only solace will be that I railed as hard as possible against it, and will likely be dead by then, Mercy willing.
Absolutely. If you don't believe me, look at the villainization of the Parkland kids. They dared speak out, so they must be brainwashed by Parents and the "Liberal Mediaโข", or maybe they're "Crisis Actors". Used as an example of "Bad Behavior".
The message is clear, "Step out of line, we will RUIN you."
I have wondered a lot about what keeps people from speaking out about injustices. I think most people want to lead quiet lives until they have been broken by injustice and that most people donโt consider themselves role models or necessarily want to be. That fear and conditioning keep them from speaking up until it becomes something they can no longer ignore.
Then there are the sociopaths, who simply donโt care. Most of those work in politics.
Make no mistake, I place no blame on teachers. The curriculum is filled with things on purpose by the Administration, so they never get to really focus on the important parts. It's part of the plan to keep the Peasants in line. It's why DeVos got the nod, despite no Experience and blatant conflicts of interest.
