I was 17 - Christmas of my Junior year. For my depression-era parents, raising 5 boys & 3 girls on one salary, money was tight.
And yet, giving was always free, and holidays were filled with food, laughter, love, & homemade gifts.
I was a straight-A, first-chair violinist, three-letter varsity athlete that year, and my parents were beyond proud.
The king of mischief, my dad "found" one last gift. With a twinkle, he pulled a letter jacket from behind the tree.
I'm not sure who cried more.

Has anyone else had an issue being disconnected from people you follow?
Sometimes my "follow" list shrinks for no apparent reason, and then I have to go back and "refollow" peeps, and then it works.
Next time it happens, it's different peeps, but works again. Weird.

I don’t disagree completely there. I do think FISA and some aspects of the justice system were weaponized for political reasons which is appalling to me. And I think this investigation is the result of that weaponization. I can’t support such things and I think if the politics were reversed the people cheering now would be horrified as I am.

And I understand where you’re coming from. I would have felt the same way had Clinton won. Ideology leads to confirmation bias. Where you see danger I don’t. Had Clinton won in quite sure I’d see the same level of danger and you’d think I was being ridiculous.
