Morning thought:

Some people choose to live their lives as if someone (God, public opinion, their guilty conscience) is always watching: always observing the proprieties, always afraid of being criticized.

Some people choose to live as if no one is watching: just let it all hang out, and screw you if you can't handle it.

A great many people live as if they think somebody is watching, but that if they are sneaky enough, or cross their fingers, they can get away with a lot.

Perhaps the best way to live your life is as if it doesn't matter who's watching: to have a perfect agreement between your private and public selves, and behave well not because of feelings of guilt, but because that's who you are; you're not ashamed if your private personality were seen in public, because you're comfortable with your own identity and behavior.
