While we were still on our way home from the airport, my sister started in on my eating habits. Like, complete and utter shaming. I’m, like, WTF, dude? We’re here to take stress off Mom, not add to it! She and I were pretty much arguing sporadically the rest of the night, and at one point Mom gave me a pitying look with tears in her eyes. Dad used to do this to her & me both, and obesity comes mostly from her family (tho Dad’s mom & her sibs all had diabetes).
