My sister is coming for the better part of next week. Wish it was for better reasons. Lots of crying and memory sharing, methinks. If my brother blows his top at me like he did last weekend, I’m going to have to stand up for myself and say, “We’re all hurting. There’s no cause to yell at me.”

Unfortunately, family strife is pretty common when grief is in play. Set your boundaries as lovingly as you can. Know that is hard, but it is worth it in the end. Voice of experience.
