Who remembers what a squelch dial is and what it does? Bonus: On what device has it most commonly been used most recently? #CoSoNostalgia
@caaddison88 I remember them on CB radios. As a kid I remember it cut down the chaos. Are sqelch dials used in microphones or electric guitars?
@Hulio I only know of them being used in CBs and HAM radios. Yes, they were used to reduce static. Not sure if they fine tuned the channel or how they worked.
@caaddison88 I think I need to install a squelch dial in my brain to turn down the chaos.😂 I'm always looking for an adhd quick fix to replace meditation.
