A decade ago I undertook the job of transfering my grandfathers recorded reel to reel tapes to digital. He played sax and a little violin.. no that* little.. and had an ear for harmonies.
Alas he converted to SDA at way to young an age and gave up playing the dances😪
So its 90% religious tunes he would record on a revox 2 channel.
He never got to mix tracks together and hear his efforts as I know he intended.

Home Sweet Home.. wow.9 parts recorded on reel to reel so he heard in his head what I eventualy heard years after he passed.
And now I can't help but be a fan of West Ham United because this was another one he had in multiple takes.
