TMW you realize you've been routinely prefacing ideas that end up getting implemented and saving your institution tens of thousands of dollars with "Hey, here's a stupid idea..." just so if it goes spectacularly wrong after they implement it, you can say "hey, I never said it was a good idea" or "well, I told you it was a dumb idea..."
