A lovely theater weekend, two productions at Theater at Monmouth (Maine) - a fantastic Richard II, and a poignant The Story of My Life. Both playing for the next few weeks, and up next for us, The Importance of Being Earnest. What a gem of a small theater company. Superb actors, neat venue (small opera hall), and great season show selection. We're about to sign up for next year's season, too! Highly recommended!

Speaking of local theater, this weekend we're seeing Richard II on Friday night, and The Story of My Life on Saturday night at Theater at Monmouth

I did tech edit for all three editions of Building the Perfect PC from O'Reilly, back a couple of decades... and I've been building/upgrading systems since the 70's, and PC's since the 80's.

In other news, I purchased all the bits to build myself a new windows box, mostly for CAD and gaming, so it's got a bit of beef. First fresh build (instead of upgrading old box) in about a decade, so that'll be fun.
