If you live in any one of these states and have kids headed to college this might be a good option.

I know in Maine public 4 year schools will accept you & transfer credits towards a bachelor degree. Everyone is eligible here until 2025. 12% more have graduated and are attending college & tech programs now. I hope we keep this too!

Also public colleges in Germany are free to anyone no matter where you live. You do have to pay for housing, food, books etc though.

@KazzyH I'm originally from UK and left University with zero debt because it was paid for. Here in US I have two kids, one in college another about to go and the cost (while we saved for it in advance) is insane. It should not be this way and doesn't need to be this way.

This and healthcare, feeding and housing people.

My daughter started her masters in NY. She is halfway done. She moved to NJ. The credits for her masters are not transferable. 🙄

So, she's starting over. * sigh *
