@bfgreen I've never seen or used one. However, if you distort that latch or the surrounding metal? You will quickly wish you used a short step ladder.

@bfgreen First and foremost, it's unlikely that latch has a nut behind it, more likely that it's simply threaded. It was never designed to hold weight whatsoever. Imagine that giving way, ouch.

@MidnightRider you are correct. Most are tapped screws (threaded holes) and do not have a nut behind.
