I enjoy calligraphy because it is a type of meditation for me. I am part of a typology community that puts out a weekly glyph challenge where a person is encouraged to be creative with it and it still be recognizable. This week is the Arabic letter ج [d͡ʒim]. This is what I submitted.

I attended the art institute of Boston in my other life & calligraphy was one of my favorite courses. I remember incorporating letters into painting as a lesson.
