OK, I finally got around to taking a few more pics of that spider.
Thoughts as to its species? Grass spider or brown recluse?

@SteppinRazor The abdomen doesn't remind me of a brown recluse (lighter, smoother), but I am no expert.
Seems to me they like to be in clothing or cloth stuff. So don't leave clothes lying around!
@DianeH Yeah, I've found one of these guys in the bottom of a clothes hamper, under clothes.
Same. Also on a towel I was going to use to dry myself after a shower! I've mainly found dead ones under things like end tables and couches. And also on the walls.
I hate these spiders. This is the time of year they are more active for mating, or something I've been told.

These spiders are always around my house. Pretty sure it's called a wolf spider. 🕷️
