I am a repair god!

Turned the hottub on, after coming back from vacation. Motor came on, but no water flowed. Sigh, usually means you have to "purge" the pump.

OK, get all the tools, carefully break the collar free to let air out. Turn on the pump, still nothing. Try 3x.

Call support: "probably need to replace the pump".

Try one more time, but this time, I tap the pump lightly with a hammer, in case something is stuck in there. Voila! Water starts flowing!

I will now rest on my laurels.
