The Office of the Special Counsel has been in existence since 2022 and has already filed thousands of documents with several different courts, and only now is somebody saying that the appointment was 'illegal'? That argument failed the moment those documents were accepted into the court record. If anybody really thought there was a problem with the appointment, it should have been made two years ago. This is not a serious argument, just an excuse.
