In anecdotal, but significant to me, good news, I learned that switching from unfiltered turkish press coffee to green tea in the morning has lowered my cholesterol 12 points from the "we need to talk" red zone into the "keep your stinkin' pills" green zone.

In total I have lowered my cholesterol 93 points, through diet and exercise, no prescription statins.

I make this in larger batches so I can just scoop it out, but heres a one serving recipe of my spicy cacao drink. Add to one cup of warm milk of your choice or even warm water:

1 TBS cacao powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp mushroom powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Cayenne

Optional: saffron (~3 soaked threads)

(cayenne has vitaminc to help absorb iron in cacao)

@LaurelGreen

Yes! This recipe looks great, and saved it to my phone so it will be handy as a shopping list next time I go ;)
