This is not the first time I have built an Arch system out but it's been a minute since my last masochistic operating system escapade so clearly it's time to just finally build another.
@KAutumnrain I found Arch interesting but too attention-seeky. Was constantly having to tinker, was a drag on productivity.
I admit it's certainly a little fiddly, for sure. I'm mostly just trying to build :3
I've debated going to something like void linux but either way it's looking like I'm gonna have to do some work if I want to run the occasional game as well as all of my graphics design and music stuff. I'm not afraid of doing that work, but the base I'm working on at the moment doesn't feel particularly suitable for that task.
@KAutumnrain I bought a System76 laptop which comes with pop!_OS (skinned ubuntu). It's just...easy. I am lazy now.

I wouldn't say lazy. A friend has echoed similar sentiments about just wanting things to generally work. I'm just a masochist :p
