Youtube got a little more pushy about ad blockers, showed a little timeout timer over the notification "X" so I installed Freetube*.
No audio.
Seems to be built on Chromium which I don't use otherwise and so audio was not automatically allowed. Fixed that.
Niche problem probably but thought I'd mention it since Google seems to be coming for us ad blocker types. Which is almost everyone.

ye personally I've been wiping and updating my ublock origin cache to help get rid of it but I'm starting to think that I need to move over to an Invidious or piped instance entirely at this stage.
