@b4cks4w @northernbassist did the parts of older cars require that much space under the front hood because the parts were bigger ? Or laid out differently than modern cars with shorter front ends?

@ACG2 @northernbassist yes and no. I'm no authority on this. Some parts were bigger, engine block itself tended to be more massive. There also was often a lot of empty space in there. I could just about fit my whole self under the hood of a 65 F100, made it easy to work on.
