@wideeyedcurious agree, and cool, that's all good but IMHO we got here because of a complete lack of information literacy. People are accepting as valid daft BS and outright malevolent disinformation that finds them on the Internet (facebook).
We need an information literacy intervention, education campaigns and real legal peril for, not to put a fine point on it, Mark Zuckerberg.
And also basic Civics, yep.

@b4cks4w It’s a combination of gullibility, not teaching critical-thinking skills, and unscrupulous people having access to tools that make it easy to take advantage for both those things.
