DuckDuckGo now lets all Android users block trackers in their apps
DuckDuckGo for Android's 'App Tracking Protection' feature has reached open beta, allowing all Android users to block third-party trackers across all their installed apps.
The 'App Tracking Protection' aims to increase privacy throughout the entire operating system by blocking third-party tracking scripts in other Android apps installed on the device.
@ecksmc I tried firefox focus too, and regular firefox. Kind of leaned away from mozilla on mobile after the big UI change. I can try them again.
@b4cks4w Firefox for android is one of the better since you can add extensions/addons in the normal firebox android app, as well as brave browser which is chromium that comes with some neat built in security which is pretty good, friefox focus is stripped away with only privacy security settings built in
i use several browsers FF{with a fF addons} FF-focus, brace and chrome so i can sync all my android with my Chromebook using the passphrase encryption method
@b4cks4w never set 1 browser as a default then you get a pop-up after clicking a URL and offers you a choice of browser to pick which is awesome
some browsers work better for certain things imo depends what yer doing
@b4cks4w not sold on it myself i prefer Firefox focus app onj android and Chromebook for privacy concerns
much better inmo more features to use also to use for certain needs
