Generally love the idea of this sponge infrastructure for urban storm water control, have seen it done well. The examples in the article are a bit wild.
Didn't remove the fly ash from coal ash ponds?! Maybe it will kill the mosquitoes they don't mention controlling.
Definitely like the concept. Channelizing water is dumb long term and catastrophically fails in the face of, e.g. hurricanes.
