Today, for some completely random reason, my Linux box has deigned to switch on my keyboard lights.

I am *not* touching the button that turns the lights on and off. Made that mistake last time.

@kaehlys Hubs & I are on Linux machines too. Ubuntu-flavored, for better or worse. So I definitely sympathize.

@Zenstitcher Pop!_OS here, which is built on Ubuntu. I need to poke around a bit for some third-party apps so I can use my Logitech keyboards properly.

@kaehlys @Zenstitcher hey Pop!_OS here too and briefly had the backlights go awol. They also returned and now work fine. Little mystery.

@b4cks4w @kaehlys Weird, you guys. Was there an update recently or something?

I've got Ubuntu 20.04 on my machine. Hubs is one stable version behind. I don't love it, but the thought of changing distros right now makes me want to find a deep hole to hide in. 😬

@Zenstitcher @kaehlys I hear that. I have wandered through distros over the years like some kind of masochist.

Pop updates are pretty frequent, including for firmware if it's a system76 device (!)
