The Sheriff in Alamance county NC is having a press conference to plead forgiveness, presumably.
Doubtful, I lived in Randolph and Guilford once, and I know about the Sheriffs there.

@AllisonKaye @Heucuva8 I know that the demonstrators he gassed have been present at (Graham) City Council meetings for a while. I don't know if they specifically wanted his removal before this.
I miss the days back when Guilford had Hege. He was only painting the jail pink and sending Trooper's cars to Germany to be handtuned and custom painted.
At least HE never had people injured intentionally.

Yeah. I hope that anyone who feels it's a good idea finds themselves unemployed and imprisoned soon.

Sheriff's press agent invited questions via email (didn't orally provide it)
The review of events given placed all blame on the Reverend and demonstrators for bringing a gas-powered generator, proscribed by permit. Arrests were made.
Review showed that no de-escalation effort was made by officers.
