Furiously trying to re-find my favorite #COVID researchers, scientists etc. on anywhere else except The Bird as it probably doesn't have a lot of time left...but dayum it's hard to find people on #Mastodon. 🐘 The layers of interaction are a tad obtuse.

I love the idea of decentralization but as long as one or a few ppl are making decisions about what stays or goes, is it really decentralized? 🤔

What I like about here is not pigeon-holing interests to ONE thing your server is based on.
