There's like this undercurrent with progressives, that you're simply not liberal ENOUGH if you don't have a few pet GOPs.
Last I checked, the Rep Party Platform is still anti-gay. That would be like me having a pet tiger that loves eating bald white gay guys(i'm all 3).

@hunkthunderzone @Russ_Hjelm I consider myself progressive (even a Dem socialist) and I think that's bonkers. I definitely don't accept "go along to get along" sentiments such as these as a hallmark of progressivism.
