A throwback to when Harry Potter was in the theaters. When Snape told Harry "You've got your mother's eyes" this is where my mind went.

And in Hot Shots, when Topper Harley says he has his father's eyes, and pulls out a small case. At the end of the movie we see him open the case, showing two eyeballs inside.
