So, lemme get this straight, because I might be wrong, but I wanna check:

1. My partner gets ~$1180/month for SSI/SSDI.
2. So if I divide that by 4 (4 weeks a month: $295/wk
3. Divide again by 7 (days/week): $42.14/day
4. Divide again by 24 (hours/day): $1.76/day

Are my calculations off?

Here’s a different way to look at it as an hourly pay rate…
Standard calculations use 4.33 for # of weeks per month as there are 52 weeks per year, not 48. If you are looking for an hourly rate, you would then divide by 40 hours/ week,
1) $1180 / 4.33 = $272.52 per week
2) $272.50/ 40 = $6.81/ hour
