I live in PA. We have backup paper ballots. I’m certain there are spot checks/audits to catch errors. I feel confident in our electoral system. I learned so much about how votes are processed the last time, I am confident in our safeguards. People who study elections/electorate agree. I do not believe there was massive voter fraud.

Here in Ohio with the touch screens, as you’re pressing buttons, there’s a paper trail audit visible through the window. Everything you do is recorded twice. Any reasonably good auditor would know if something was tampered with.

@amarand As of yesterday, they found a tabulation issue with one machine, they corrected it. That’s how it goes.

@amarand We take the chip card to the machine, make our picks, confirm our votes, then it prints out the ballot, which triple check, and then feed it into the machine. And then we are issued a receipt. Seems solid to me.
