The way I enjoyed social media was almost like a virtual café or a pub, Where you go at the end of your shift to lowkey, socialize, share and listen to [read] other people, and yes, I made friendships with people of all backgrounds. In the end, the subtle things in common overshadowed the differences. I don't care about follower count, just friendship and community; I don't enjoy talking to the void.
I’m hopeful

I guess I’ll introduce myself—Mexican-American, nerd, and introverted. I’m a former executive chef now pursuing a degree in cultural anthropology. I love gardening, travel, and hiking. I make time for reading fiction and engaging nonfiction.

It feels like the twitter I used to enjoy 🙌
