It will always feel weird to me to work at a school that does not close for the opening of deer season.

@danialexis when I first started teaching back in the 80s our school closed that day. After about five years they stopped that practice. About 75% of the students just wouldn't show on the first day of deer season after that. Can't buck family traditions.
