Reading a column in the WAPO where you can put in your zip code and they'll tell you how many donated to which party in your town. I'm stunned given the number of Trumpy signs on the front lawns of my neighbors.
Here is the link if you want to look at your own town:
Wow, if you look at the whole map, there's not much pink. And when you look at the pink, it's either not more Trump, or the numbers of people contributing to either is very low.
@Tbdev @AlphaCentauri yep - individuals can contribute to PACs and that wouldn't necessarily show. But I made donations to ActBlue which is a Harris PAC - that is where most folks are directed to donate to her campaign. It's the number of folks making small donations to her that encourages me. She has outraised the Trump campaign by a lot. Musks dollars will probably close that gap by a bit, but he still only gets one vote. Trump funnels no money to down ballot candidates. Harris can and does.
@BrentSullivan @Tbdev @AlphaCentauri thanks for clarifying that for me.
@altucker @BrentSullivan @Tbdev
But they are processing donations to the candidates' own campaigns, so that would be counted here.
@AlphaCentauri @altucker @Tbdev
Correct
It's not a PAC, it's a processing facility for any Dem who opts in and is counted in their fundraising total
@altucker @Tbdev @AlphaCentauri
ActBlue isn't a Harris PAC
It's a fund raising tool for all Dems, online since 2004
