@LaurelGreen but he certainly doesn't back disbanding the Dept. of Ed. Our union (PSEA) fought him and the house on vouchers. He's done a lot funding wise for my pet causes, Technical and Career Ed and Head Start.
@LaurelGreen I actually think her best choice would be Mark Kelly. He's enough of a centrist to attract a lot of folks on the edge to her side. He's a solid record that is unassailable.
@altucker I agree. I’m in NC so Cooper would be cool for us, but I think Kelly is probably the stronger choice. But I trust her to know what’ll help her the most.
@LaurelGreen she knows what she's doing - I'm loving how disparate the crazy side appears today v. a week ago.
@LaurelGreen what do you teach subject wise?
@altucker Tech Ed. Game design /development pathway, and also Adobe pathway. Love my content, and my students. The rest of teaching things tho? 🙄
@LaurelGreen I'm a retired Commercial Art teacher. I miss the kids quite a bit but I've stayed connected to most of them through social media and it's been wonderful to see them progress through life. I don't miss the institution crazy that teachers have had to process for the past decade or so. Enjoy the rest of your break!
@altucker I’ve been keeping up with the lives of mine who have graduated, its wonderful isn’t it?
Thanks! I’m getting a LOT of rest (cause its too hot to do anything) 😂
@altucker as a CTE teacher I do appreciate that, and applaud PSEA. But Im in a state that has just gone to vouchers and its a huge concern to me and teachers I know.
That said, I’ll support Harris no matter her VP.
