@altucker Conservatives seem to so often think that things will be better for them if they have the rules of a prior age in place.

I've lived through those prior ages and most of those people would be incapable of surviving in them. They wouldn't be able to survive and thrive against challenges that even the more privileged people faced.

@altucker I'm old enough that I do in fact remember the good old days, and I keep being horrified that humans will choose this over that.
