Seeking Advice:
My husband just accidentally ran over & killed a neighbor's cat.
We JUST moved into the neighborhood - it was in a completely separate street. After checking on the situation Hub got back in his car and drove home.
He's really upset - and kind of in shock.
We found out where the cat lived, but like... what is the etiquette?
Obviously go apologize, but ... what should we do after that?
If that happened to my cat, I'd be devastated.

Definitely tell them so they're not looking for the cat, but perhaps sending flowers later might be worthwhile. 😕
