#introduction I have kids and a job and a husband and 2 dogs, and we live in a majority blue city/county in the Florida big bend. I love music, all of it. I am an Xennial, so I'm awkward and appreciate weird humor. I have epilepsy and anxiety and my mom died last year and my husband is going thru some infancy phase so sometimes I rant. I'm just so dejected. That would have been a great opportunity. And I really felt good about it at each step. Good feedback, qualified, but I wonder if the other candidate was 'cheaper'.

I still have several opportunities in the works but, damn.

Told my husband. He's so disappointed.

Last tip:

New dashers start off as Top Dasher, to give you a head start. Then you have to keep that with good performance to contine the priority benefits. To do that, you basically need to accept everything or your acceptance rate will drop and you need it above like 95% to remain top dasher. At first they're gonna send you some trash orders sometimes to test you, and it's up to you what and when and where you dash, but....the less you do, the less you get. You want to keep that high status.

The biggest advantage to being a Top Dasher in your market is that you can Dash Now anytime you want, not just in peak times. So you don't have to schedule hours to be sure you'll have an opportunity to Dash when there are peak pay / bonus times. You also get *more* orders in slow times, and more high pay orders. That all means more $$ quicker, and less gas used.
