So, thinking about where to flee if all of North America goes alt-right. Moved from the US to Canada 25 years ago for a job. We were all feeling smug until Ontario Conservative party chose Doug Ford (yes, brother of *that* Ford) as leader; he just might win election in June. Is there anywhere that's going to be normal any more? Oddly enough, 60 years after my father survived Holocaust and dumped German citizenship to come to US, thinking about recalling it so I could get away to EU. Good grief.
