Who else uses the outer milk bags to keep their feet dry inwinter boots? My mom used to make us do this as kids and I still do it. No cold soggy socks for me no matter how long I stay in the snow.

@nbourre

We didn't have milk in bags* growing up, so no. Makes sense.

*I think they're only in ON

@bluesbaby Are milk bags only in Ontario? And here I thought this was a Canadian thing. I wish we'd do recyclable jugs though.

@JanMoleski @bluesbaby @nbourre No, no plastic bags (or styrofoam) are recyclable here in Ottawa. They were at one time, but they stopped because there wasn’t any market for it. We get our milk in glass returnable bottles now.

@ZonaPellucida @JanMoleski @nbourre

Back to glass. That's cool.

There's no market for styrofoam or recycled black plastic here.
