This mentality of “You gotta hustle real hard to build up your brand on social media” seriously needs to die out.
Social media is a goddamn crap shoot, you’re at the mercy of algorithms that can and will fuck you over.

@DarksideStraxus indeed, example. I made a new art Instagram, they changed so the algorithm only favored videos.... so my art images get no attention. Feels a bit like adding art pieces to a closet, no one knows if I don't physically push people into it
