#cosoartist How do you know what to make for online shops and the like ? I am trying to make one myself but its hard to get a feel what people want. Usually livestreamers comission me, so I dont have any own characters really to make merch of. And the fanart merch world is very confusing to me since my teachers warned me its really dangerous waters to tread in ( but at the same time i see so much of it being done anyway ). I need guidance help :(
@Slev_xyz It's just so hard to figure out what kind of avatars in that case, I draw alot of cute stuff which seems to be what people enjoy the most ( I do other stuff to, but this is most requested ). When I try to make polls or ask people I usually get maybe 2 votes, so its hard to base what i should do in my demographic. Theres never really problems when I sell a whole comission thou, then people almost elbow themselves for a spot. I feel like i have a weird position
@Zolah
Veering off subject. One of the coolest items I've had was a small magnetic case meant to hold spare key (s) and you stick it under your car somewhere.
@Slev_xyz That IS really cool! my father would love it, and i bet it could be experimented with by adding magnets to other areas like cupboards to keep them there as well
@Zolah My friend Pepper has a really successful online shop.. Enamel pins, art prints, etc.. Maybe some inspo? https://pepperraccoon.com/
@DallasBarnett Thank you :) Ill go look asap.
@Zolah
Not sure if I'm on the right track but how about avatars of exaggerated face portraits that can be printed onto keychains designed to hold keys.
