@jenebene yes, they are a couple of swaledale rams owned by a friend in my header pic :) Very widespread around the northern pennines.
I generally use their fleece for rugs as it's quite rough wool - warm though so it makes good outerwear - quick and easy to spin too :)
Photo is my pet swaledale and her lamb - about 35 years ago :)
@jenebene pet lambs, bottle fed, are the easiest and cheapest way to start if you want sheep that are pets too :)
