I'm surprised how much Elon's "you have to commit to be hardcore" garbage annoys me. Probably because I spent 20 years in videogame development hell where this "you must sacrifice your life for our project" mentality is common. All I can say is.... run. Run fast.

20 odd years working in IT support here and that annoys me so much too. That whole "hero" mentality and "hardcore" element is something we've fought hard to change, esp as we've been striving to make things more inclusive and recruit a diverse workforce and challenge those "laddish" approaches. I could weep :(
