Working on a double knit reversible jack-o-lantern hotpad using cotton yarn. I haven't done any #knitting in 2 years, so I had to re-teach myself #PortugueseStyleKnitting. Why do I retain muscle memory for crochet but not for knitting?? π€
But, I'm back into the swing of it after doing some practice.
Brilliant! Turns out my muscle memory for #knitting lasted through the 20 odd year hiatus and when I picked up needles again it was like I'd never stopped! I taught myself to crochet earlier this year - that was amusing as I kept ending up with all the stitches on the hook despite repeating in my head "it's not knitting"! π

I did a LOT more crochet than knitting, but for whatever reason my brain does not mix them up. Brains are just weird.
